Maintenance on our backend datastore has completed. We greatly appreciate the patience of our entire developer community as we worked to complete this migration.

GIPHY Developers can now once again utilize the Developers Portal (developer.giphy.com) to create new applications, or modify/delete existing applications; additionally, the ability to make changes to API Keys is once again activated.

Update
We have nearly completed the required maintenance on our datastore. However, we expect to remain in read-only mode for the next 12-18 hours as we continue to verify our data.

Update
We have now entered read-only mode on our GIPHY Developers portal. At this time, no new apps can be created nor can any attributes be modified for existing apps or API keys. We will continue to post updates here.

We will be performing backend maintenance on a datastore used in our GIPHY Developers portal (developer.giphy.com). During this maintenance period the site will enter a read-only mode and you will not be able to create new applications, or modify/delete existing applications. No changes to the attributes of an API keys can be made during this period (e.g., upgrading a beta key to a production key). Note that the use of existing API keys by client applications will be unaffected. We will provide updates here.
